THE ‘ENERET’ by C.M. Hess c.1900
This elegant multi-fuel stove c1900 was manufactured in Denmark at the Hess foundry , Veile. Intricate casting is combined with a robust 8kw output in a stove that would become the feature of any room. Beneath the ‘hat’ are removable rings and hotplate for feeding larger logs . The fire is also fed via the top door. The middle door has a mica window to view the fire. The bottom door conceals the ashpan and allows dust free riddling. The central wheel on the bottom door controls the airflow. The stove stands 46" and is 18" around the base. The rear flue is 5"
