Antique Danish unicorn stove

Antique unicorn stove

This Unicorn antique stove was made by the Rasmussen Foundry based in Odense (the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen) on the little island of Fyn in Denmark. Cast around 1920, it is a high output stove which can burn both wood and coal.
Underneath the decorative hat is a hotplate and there is a mica window in the fire door so that the fire can be seen.
